I am writing this letter in reference to our experience with the air curtains installed by AES at our new store in Airdrie, AB.

Firstly, having had positive experiences with these systems in previous projects, I began discussions with a few suppliers well ahead of our construction dates. Peter Gordon of AES established himself as my first choice for a number of reasons, including his excellent communication and customer service, as well as his track record and price competitiveness.

We have been open in our new facility since March 2007 and have nothing but positive comments regarding the units installed by AES. Our store consists of a 52,000 sf retail floor and 12 bay Auto Service Centre, and we have installed units above the 12 foot entry and exit bay doors in Service as well as above both retail entry and exit doors. These units provide our staff and customers with a greatly enhanced comfort level, preventing the entry of dust and insects into the store and maintaining a constant comfortable temperature level in all seasons, particularly at our cash lanes. We also look forward to the energy savings which I have experienced in past projects, as our central HVAC system does not have to work as hard at heating or cooling a significant infiltration of unwanted outside air.

Lastly I found Peter to be a great liaison with the architects and engineers on this project to ensure the rough-ins were appropriate and he was instrumental in having one air curtain location redesigned for maximum efficiency.

I highly recommend these units and services of Peter Gordon based on my experience thus far.
